GRB 105 - 1941 Packard Darrin Convertible Victoria,
Ed Macauley (coupe de ville)
Ed Macauley always wanted his cars to be a bit different than the run of the mill Packards, and thus his personal Darrin Convertible Victoria was no exception. Rather than use the somewhat homely Darrin-designed cloth top, Macauley had this beautiful Coupe de Ville top constructed. The non-folding unit was covered in landau leather and fitted with large chrome decorative landau irons.
This is a one-off car which first appeared as white and later in the same year in brown. The brown version was nicknamed the brown bomber.
Only 60 examples of each colour will be made.
